TRAVEL TIPS

We are now officially in what is called the “Hurricane Season”.  This runs from June first through the end of November.  This is the time of year where the sea surface temperatures warm up, and we begin to see tropical waves potentially develop into bigger storms.  “Hurricane Season” means that this is the time of year where tropical storms and hurricanes are most likely to develop.  This, even though this tropical weather can, and has developed outside the traditional season.

If you live in the Caribbean or Central America, this is the time to update your emergency weather kits!  If you are making a trip to the area, this means that you should be very aware of the forecast!

You can get travel advice by visiting our travel section here. Each island/region and nation is represented with helpful travel info.
