TRAVEL TIPS

We are now in the statistical "meat" of the hurricane season.  September 10th usually marks the height of the season, as this is the time when the Atlantic, Caribbean, and Gulf waters are the warmest.

It has been an active few weeks in the tropics, and hopefully things will start to calm down soon.  Remember, as updates come in, we post them here with an easy to understand explanation of what is happening, and what will happen.

June 1 - November 30 is the hurricane season for the Caribbean, Mexico and the Americas with June and November remaining mostly quiet. If you are traveling or planning to travel to the area in the next few months, good for you! The summer months bring lower prices and fewer people. It’s the perfect time to visit.

You can get travel advice by visiting our travel section here. Each island/region and nation is represented with helpful travel info.
